Thomas has an energy and enthusiasm for people that has driven his professional career. Coupled with his personal wellness pursuits, he is a natural fit at the International Wellness Professionals Association.
Quickly scaling the ranks of the New York City hospitality industry, Thomas enjoyed working with the international clientele that patronized the upscale Tribeca Grand and The Hudson Hotel. During this time, he also became a certified sommelier, from the Court of Master Sommeliers and parlayed these skills into a position at the prestigious AAA Five Diamond, Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, FL.
With a desire to make a greater impact, Thomas moved away from hospitality and transitioned his passion for people into the world of education, becoming an admissions advisor at Kaplan University. Here he felt the most satisfaction encouraging his students and helping them to achieve their goals.
Thomas is an endurance athlete and ultramarathon competitor. His mentors are Olympic Marathoner, Keith Brantly and endurance sports nutrition specialist, Bob Seebohar. His greatest challenge, the Gobi March, a 6 day - 155 mile footrace through the desert of China. This was undeniably a mind-body accomplishment. Thomas is committed to continual self improvement, both physically and mentally. He is always working to maintain a balanced and natural lifestyle.
His formal education includes a major in Marketing and a minor in Nutrition Science at Florida State University.
Through his position as a Membership Educator, Thomas thoroughly enjoys getting to know the diverse members of the association. He finds recognizing synergy and connecting across the globe to further the association’s mission, a rewarding pursuit.
