Founder and President - Alyette Keldie

AKeldie@iWellPros.org

Alyette is passionate about entrepreneurship and alternative means of wellness. Entrepreneur is a French word meaning "one who undertakes an endeavor".  For her an endeavor, something larger then yourself to focus your energy on, is a key factor in well-being… thus naturally the vision of iWellPros.

Alyette spent much of her formative years training in classical dance and hanging out at the gym while her mother taught fitness. She started teaching at the age of 17 and by 19 she opened a dance studio.  After five years of rapid growth, she chose to take a step back from teaching and work on expanding the business With a change in location, she added music and theatre to become a full fledged performing arts academy.  She continued to strengthen the company through strong client service, synergistic programming and cross marketing.  After eleven successful years she chose to divest the business to allow room in her life for new endeavors.

Alyette has read hundreds of business and marketing books by authors such as Dale Carnegie, Michael Gerber, and Brian Tracy.  She regularly attends business conferences and workshops to stay up to date.  Alyette is certified by the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America and enjoys fitness training, Yoga and Pilates.  Her formal education is in Psychology and Health Services Administration at Florida Atlantic University.

As the president of the International Wellness Professionals Association, Alyette enjoys helping those who help others to grow their businesses and thus fulfilling the association’s mission of improving global health.  She has an arsenal of solutions gained through years of do-it-yourself small business savvy and experience as a commercial landlord.  In addition, she continues to learn each day from the diverse knowledge of the talented association members.

Membership Educator - Thomas Griffin

Thomas has an energy and enthusiasm for people that has driven his professional career.  Coupled with his personal wellness pursuits, he is a natural fit at the International Wellness Professionals Association.

Quickly scaling the ranks of the New York City hospitality industry, Thomas enjoyed working with the international clientele that patronized the upscale Tribeca Grand and The Hudson Hotel.  During this time, he also became a certified sommelier, from the Court of Master Sommeliers and parlayed these skills into a position at the prestigious AAA Five Diamond, Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, FL.

With a desire to make a greater impact, Thomas moved away from hospitality and transitioned his passion for people into the world of education, becoming an admissions advisor at Kaplan University.  Here he felt the most satisfaction encouraging his students and helping them to achieve their goals.

Thomas is an endurance athlete and ultramarathon competitor. His mentors are Olympic Marathoner, Keith Brantly and endurance sports nutrition specialist, Bob Seebohar.  His greatest challenge, the Gobi March, a 6 day - 155 mile footrace through the desert of China. This was undeniably a mind-body accomplishment.  Thomas is committed to continual self improvement, both physically and mentally. He is always working to maintain a balanced and natural lifestyle.

His formal education includes a major in Marketing and a minor in Nutrition Science at Florida State University.

Through his position as a Membership Educator, Thomas thoroughly enjoys getting to know the diverse members of the association.  He finds recognizing synergy and connecting across the globe to further the association’s mission, a rewarding pursuit.
