Kimberly Hardick – Since 2010

Kimberly is a true connector in the yoga world and her influence is now extending throughout the wellness industry.  Under her direction, the Aledo Wellness Center has become a shining example of successful integration.  The center which includes Chiropractic, the Nia Technique, Massage, Reiki, Personal Training, many diverse workshops, the Colibre School of Hatha Yoga and Yoga classes offered 100% on donation, has become a sacred space of learning and healing in Texas.

 

Kimberly began her journey studying with Michelle Andrei, the founder of Priya Yoga and continued all the way through her Yoga Therapy Program. She is also a trained Nia Technique practitioner. Kimberly has traveled numerous times to Thailand, as well as, India to study and to lead retreats.

 

As a benevolent connector, Kimberly has founded, “See You on the Mat” a grass roots effort to connect with small studio owners and teachers, as well as, “Yoga Mentals” getting back to the basics of Yoga. Kimberly LaRue - Since 2010

Kimberly is a multi-faceted healer, teacher and speaker who applies the skills acquired over 30 years to facilitate personal healing and wholeness. Her passion is to introduce others to the innate wisdom of the body by fostering awareness; clearing embedded physical, energetic and mental patterns and imparting techniques and practices that expand mind/body integration. The primary modalities of Kimberly’s work are CranioSacral Therapy (CST) and massage therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), yoga and meditation in conjunction with hypnotherapy and guided visualization.

 

Kimberly is a graduate of the Upledger Institute from which she has received advanced CST training credentials and works as a teacher’s assistant. Her expertise enables her to assist everyone from children to older adults as well as women during pregnancy. This gentle, hands-on method is especially effective for those dealing with cancer, nervous system and immune disorders.

 

As a natural progression from teaching aerobics and exercise for 18 years, Kimberly became a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) and worked for Oprah Winfrey’s Harpo Studios in Chicago. During this time she also studied Structural Integration (Rolfing) and plunged into her passion for yoga.

 

Over her career as both a yoga student and instructor, she has received training from many yoga notables including David Swenson, Seane Corne, Erich Schiffman, Gary Kraftsow, Shiva Rea, Paul Grilley and Sara Powers. Kimberly leads inspirational and gently-challenging classes and teaches “Beach Baby Yoga” for pregnant women. She also conducts an annual Exotic Yoga Retreat in Bali with her husband Eric, also a yoga instructor, through their company Shade Tree Yoga.

 

For Kimberly, the source that nourishes her, her practice and clients is meditation. She is a long-time student of the highly regarded Tibetan meditation masters, the Venerable Khenpo Rinpoches. Under their tutelage she facilitates calm abiding meditation practice at the Palm Beach Dharma Center, where she also maintains her main office.

 

Kimberly is also trained in Jon Kabat-Zinn’s Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), herbalism and aromatherapy, certified in Tibetan Sound Healing and has trained with Donna Eden in Energy Medicine for Women and Advanced Energy Medicine.

Monica has devoted her career to self development and coaching her clients to achieve their personal best in life and business. She is the Get What You Want Coach - so named by her satisfied clients to precisely describe the kind of coach she is. 

Her international tele-coaching clients are moved by her boundless enthusiasm for life as she guides them in connecting with their skills, talents, long-range vision, and deepest heart’s desire. Monica works ardently with clients to support them create balance in their life while pursuing their purpose.  She helps each individual to intentionally embrace their powerful self and become the leader of their life.  

Monica is a published author and her influential creations include books, user-friendly manuals and workbooks. She has been professionally recognized by TV and print media. Her formal education includes a bachelor of fine arts in creative writing from the University of British Columbia, as well as, two professional coaching certifications from CTI, The Coaches Training Institute.

As a successful coach and esteemed author, Monica contributes valuable knowledge on how to build an international tele-coaching business, create an effective brand, become a published author and enjoy a fulfilling, balanced life.

 

 

Rico Marciano - Since 2010

 

Rico began of his professional fitness career in 1977. In a moment of serendipitous seating, Rico’s conversation with Dr. Wayne Dyer on the red eye back from LA to Miami, started him on a journey as an advocate of holistic health. To this day he is still turning his gym clients into believers of the mind-body connection.

 

As a Certified Personal Trainer, he designs motivational fitness programs for Pro Athletes, as well as, those seeking general weight-loss and conditioning. He is most notably recognized for his work with clients that have suffered head injuries, spinal cord injuries and orthopedic problems. His emphasis on whole body wellness and mind over matter has led to many proud moments of sharing in his client’s success.

 

These include:
- Carol’s medals at the Veterans Wheelchair Games and winning the Presidential Gold Award.
- Chris’s division win at the National Wheelchair Bodybuilding Championship.
- Chip’s Presidential Fitness Award.

- Buck’s weight-loss of 160 lbs.
- Rosey’s weight-loss of 104 lbs.

 

Rico was awarded Trainer of the Year 1993 by Gold’s Gym.  He also received the VanWanderham Lifetime Achievement Award in Fitness, 1998.  Arnold Schwarzenegger called him the “James Bond of fitness.”

 

Over the years, the press has sought out the stories behind these victories and with a background in performing arts; Rico has become candid fitness personality with the media.  He was a continuous segment contributor for Body by Jake's TV show, "Healthy Lifestyle Solutions.”  Rico produced the motivational documentary "Chariots of Courage” about the triumphs and tragedies of four people in wheelchairs.  He also hosted "Rico, Motivational Fitness" a radio talk show for Clear Channel.

Rico is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine.  He is also a member of The American Film Institute.

 

With a long, esteemed career full of continuous motivation, supporting his client’s triumphs over challenge and communicating these to the media, Rico is a valuable contributor in the areas of using mind-body fitness to overcome obstacles and communicating your message to the media.

 

 

Samantha Monus - Since 2010

Samantha’s experience and achievements within health and wellness are vast. Her corporate experience includes Fitness Director at Gold’s Gym and Group Fitness Coordinator at LA Fitness. As a fitness model she was a featured in Elle Magazine’s Glam Fitness Workout Series: Complete Cardio, a 2007 Telly Award Winning Fitness DVD and most recently in Beachbody’s Brazil Butt Lift Workout Series.

 

Samantha is a certified Personal Trainer by the International Fitness Professionals of America and the Interactive Fitness Trainers of America. She is also certified to teach Pilates mat and reformer by the Pilates Institute of America, Yoga by SCW and Yoga Alliance, as well as, group fitness by Aerobics and Fitness Association of America.


She graduated from Florida State University and is now completing her Doctor of Naturopathy degree at Clayton College of Natural Health.

 

Samantha is a devoted understudy of her father, Dr. Don Monus ND, H.PhD who is co-author of the book What’s Killing you and What to do About it!

 

Through her company Monus Mind & Body Fitness, Samantha works individually with clients, assisting them in becoming their personal best and helping them to live their life to the fullest, in the best shape they can be, inside and out.

 

Samantha contributes a wide range of first hand knowledge on integrating the mind-body connection with mainstream exercise, how to build your brand and a diverse career in fitness.

 

 

 

Cristina Proano-Carrion - Since 2010

Born and raised in the Ecuadorian capital, Quito, Cristina's memories are always related to the scents of her homeland. A professional Aromatherapist since 1994, Cristina received her Complementary Health Education Diploma in Aromatherapy in 1997 from the Kevala Center in the U.K., and advanced her studies in 1998 when she took the International Training Program in Essential Oils at Purdue University in Indiana.

 

Cristina was the South America representative for an international skin care line and owner of a wellness spa in Ecuador for 10 years. She has more than 15 years of experience formulating aromatherapy products for the spa, fitness and hospitality industry and speaking with North and South American audiences on television and radio as well as in seminars and workshops.

 

She is eager to share her successful experience and the therapeutic values of her homeland's pure healing ingredients.
